The Brave Homeschooling Mama

Special Needs Homeschool Consultations

Homeschooling a neurodivergent child is a brave and personal choice—and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Whether you're just starting or trying to adjust a plan that’s not working, my consultations offer personalized guidance, reassurance, and tools that make a difference.

Who This Is For

  • Families homeschooling children with autism, ADHD, PDA, dyslexia, anxiety, sensory processing differences, or twice-exceptionality (2e)

  • Parents transitioning from public/private school to homeschool.

  • Families using unschooling, eclectic, or interest-led approaches

  • Anyone feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of the next step.

What’s Included

Each consultation is tailored to your family’s needs and may include:

✔ Personalized Strategy Session
We’ll examine your child’s unique profile—strengths, challenges, sensory needs, and learning preferences—to determine what’s working, what’s not, and what to try next.

✔ Curriculum & Approach Guidance
You can get recommendations for neurodivergent-friendly curricula or how to adapt what you're already using. We’ll discuss what matches your child’s learning style and interests.

✔ Homeschool Planning Help
Together, we’ll create a plan that balances flexibility with purpose. That might mean weekly rhythms, unschooling goals, project ideas, or IEP-style supports.

✔ Support for PDA & Demand Avoidance
I specialize in helping families whose children struggle with demand avoidance. I’ll help you build a low-demand, connection-first homeschool environment that supports autonomy and safety.

✔ Parent Coaching & Encouragement
Homeschooling is as much about the parent as it is about the child. I’ll help you work through doubts, mindset shifts, and burnout so you feel supported and capable.
